Driving into Sestanovac
Vibrant morning market near Zadvarje
Zadvarje Fair takes places every Tuesday. We were lucky to have stumbled upon it. Quite a variety of items are sold here from livestock to fruits and vegetables. We had our breakfast at one of the shops and watched the locals go about their routine. A favourite seems to be the roasted pork ordered from the street stall and washed down with the local liquor (instead of the tea and coffee that we are accustomed to!).

Next, finely shred the cabbages
Lastly, pickle / ferment the finely shreaded cabbages. Now that we have seen how it is made, looking forward to tasting it.
