Today we made our way to Delphi. We passed cotton fields and olive plantations on the way.
Here are some pics en route to Delphi.
Came across this kantina on the roadside at noon. Since it is lunch time, we decided to try out the food.
Dad looking at what to order.
Yummy pork sandwich with proper hot chilli sauce too! We had the sausage sandwich too but forgot to take a photo of it as it came later. The sandwiches were excellent!

Streets of Delphi. We had pancakes, ice cream, cold beer for dad, coffees for mum and I at this cafe.
DELPHI ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM / SITE:
As we were a little late, the museum was closed. Luckily for us, the archeological site was still open. The entrance fee for the site is 6 Euro. However, as it was European Heritage Day, entrance to the site was free.
Some info on Delphi archaeological site.

At night, on the grounds of the Delphi archeological site, a live performance was held in memory of Alexander Sorotes (I hope I have spelled his name correctly). The whole event was conducted in Greek. Although we could not understand a word of what was being presented, we still enjoyed the music. Here is a short video of the performance:
