Liverpool..also known as the New York of Europe is famous due for the Beatles and Liverpool Football Club ...a top football club in the UK and Europe. Liverpool is also famed as a port and for its pioneer industries. A few areas in the city are World Heritage Sites like the Pier Head areas, Albert Dock, William Brown Street and the Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City Centre.

Calais, France to Dover, UK by ferry; Stonehenge and Weston-super-Mare

Leaving Europe by ferry at Calais, France to Dover, England.

As we enter the ferry terminal in Calais, we went through France immigration, followed by the British immigration office. On the British side, there were some forms to be filled up and after a couple of routine questions, we were stamped in. We then proceeded to buy our ferry ticket. Next ferry departs at 1.30pm. UK customs checking was done on landing at Dover.
