Today is a day of leisurely drive. For the most part of the morning our eyes feasted on rolling hills and valleys all the way from Skadar Lake to Petrovac. Thereafter, the Adriatic coastline greeted us.
We could just about see the Skadar Lake from here. Thick clouds threatening with more rain.

Short photo stop on the way to Petrovac.
Farm on the hill slopes. Could not see what is it they planted though.
First glimpse of the Adriatic Sea (taken near Petrovac).

Petrovac. Rough sea today.
Petrovac
Sveti Stefan. This tiny islet is a resort hotel.
Rezevici Monastery
Situated a short distance from Petrovac town, along the Adriatic coastline, is Rezevici Monastery. Click here for more info on this centuries old monastery.
Water tap near the entrance to the monastery.
Looks like the kitchen and open air dining area
There are 3 small churches in the monastery complex.
(i) The Holy Trinity Church
The Holy Trinity Church from 1814. Services are still held here.

(ii) The Church of Dormition of the Mother of God (13th Century)
The building with the bell is the Church of Dormition of the Mother of God
(iii) The Church of St. Stephen the Archdeacon
The small archway is the entrance to this small church consecrated in 1351. This church was destroyed in the 19th Century by the Turkish Army.
After Rezevici Monastery, we headed north and reached Budva at about 3.15pm. It was drizzling, cold and very windy. At 4pm it started to rain heavily and visibility was low. Nothing much we could do but stay in.
