For our trip to New Zealand's South Island, we decided to rent a campervan, our first trip in a rented campervan. Its a Sprinter Cmapervan.....
Our flight to Christchurch was via Sydney, Australia.
We were in the South Island from 30 April 2015 to 11 May 2015.
It is the tourist off peak season which makes the whole trip even more enjoyable.
We collected our camper at Christchurch Airport and spent some time to complete the paperwork and get some instructions on the operation of the camper. We decided to get the Mercedes Sprinter which has more than enough room to fit us three comfortably.
Hitting the road with our rented campervan, a Mercedes Sprinter. Leaving Christchurch -1 May 15
