Spain Valcaros in Pyrenees , Pamplona, Lorgrono, Bougos 2013

Crossed the France/Spain Border at Arneguy to Valcarlos, heading towards Pamplona through The Pyrenees Mountains, Our original intended route was through Larrau on the D26 up the Pyrenees Mountain Pass via Porta de Larrau, due to heavy snowfall and remote road we had to take a different route to the border on D128 at Valcarlos.

The Pyrennes Mountain stretch 450km between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, forming a natural frontier between France and Spain. In the Hautes (high) Pyrenees, the border between these two countries is a high ridge of wild peaks, often more than 3000m high.
