Paris - Arc De Triomphe

Located at the centre of Place Charles De Gaulle, Arc De Triomphe  is a massive triumphal arch in Paris and one of the world’s best-known commemorative monuments.

The Arch was built in 1806 by Napoleon, after his great victory at the battle of Austerliz to celebrate the military achievements of the French armies. The Arch is 164 feet (50 metres) tall and 148 feet (45 metres) wide.

Paris - Notre Dame

Built between the 12th and 14th centuries, Notre-Dame de Paris also known as The Lady of Paris. It has centuries of French history built into its stone especially at the time of the French Revolution..... The Gothic Cathedral reflects the prominent role of Paris as an economic and spiritual center in the 12th century. Sadly on April 15, 2019, a fire broke out at the cathedral, enveloping the iconic spire and much of the roof.
